Created in 2000 the adoption service Animales de Andalucia ende
avours to get abandoned animals adopted. The adoption service Animales de Andalucia has about 80 /90 dogs in this moment. All are waiting for a family in Almunecar ( Spain) , in our refuge or temporary foster homes or at other refuge centres. They are there because of changes in family situations ( divorce, expulsion etc), moving abroad, a death, owners having health problems ( hospitalisation), being abandoned. Others have been removed following judicial intervention because of abuse.
Others come from breeders which have gone into liquidation.

JULIE RESCUE
Den spanska föreningen Animales De Andalucia drivs av en kvinna vid namn Julie Lochbrunner. Hon förestår också föreningens hundhem. Förutom hundarnas skötsel, veterinärresor, sökandet efter hundar som far illa, städning i hundgården, medicinering, badning m.m. verkar Julie aktivt för att förändra hundarnas situation i Spanien rent lagligt. Som före detta advokat är Julie mycket drivande i sina försök att få till stånd lagändringar som ska skydda hundarna. Julie har också välgörenhetsmiddagar i Granada och Almunecar så ofta hon kan för att samla in bidrag till verksamheten.
Julie Rescues verksamhet i Sverige består i att hjälpa dessa hundar till ett bra liv i Sverige. Vårt arbete består till största delen av planering av hemtransport av hundar till Sverige, göra hembesök hos intresserade och bistå med råd och hjälp till de som adopterat eller funderar på att adoptera en spansk hund. Vi som arbetar för Julie Rescue i Sverige arbetar helt ideellt, alltså helt utan ersättning.
